Spreads Holiday Cheer Spread By Secret Santa To Hurricane Harvey Affected People

Joann Petty is not exactly in the spirit of Christmas, and who can blame her?

After four months, when Hurricane Harvey flooded Texas, Beaumont, Joann and many like her are virtually homeless still for the holidays. According to Joann, she lost everything, and now she couldn’t even afford to buy Christmas presents for her grandkids — until now.

That is why the man came in red made Beaumont had his first stop this year. A Secret Santa came and gave her $300 –though the amount is not much in the scheme of things; however it is plenty to restore some hope.

That is what this businessman who is anonymous does every year with the money he owns. He travels the country offer help up to $100,000 worth of $100 bills to strangers coming across his way.

A Secret Santa brings holiday cheers on the faces of those who are in need in Beaumont, Texas, Lou Bopp.

But this year it was a little different, because, this year he had a secondary motive and this is to call attention to the Beaumont Police Department (BPD) for their sacrifice which is extraordinary.
