Quebec Seeing A Very Strong End To Skiing Season

The start of the skiing season in Quebec was not that good. It faced rough weather during the Christmas time. The skiing fortunes improved gradually and it looks like the March break would bring a very good end to the skiing season.

There is fresh snow that is falling during the second busiest time of the year and this has made the skiers happy. The CEO of Quebec Ski Area Association, Yves Juneau, said that the season is better than what they had last year.

The wintry weather is still very much present. It offers very good skiing opportunities for snowboarding and downhill skiing enthusiasts. He feels that the season will be very good overall. Still, there are a lot of skiers looking to take the advantage on the slopes across Quebec.

The major business for the ski hills in Quebec comes from the spring break skiers. The two-week break period offered by Quebec and Ontario schools is a boon for the local ski hills.

With very good snow conditions right now, they expect very good participation from all skiing enthusiasts. The good weather is also attracting a lot of visitors from outside of Quebec to enjoy the snow.
