WEST PALM BEACH, FL – 10/13/2017 (PRESS RELEASE JET) — An organization dedicated to herpes education, awareness, and treatment

In recognition of Australia’s National Herpes Awareness Day, TellaDermMD has launched their new website, Their organization aims to treat and bring herpes awareness to the United States where according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, 1 in 4 Americans are infected. Herpes Happens is designed for treating patients specifically with Genital and Oral herpes. TellaDermMD has negotiated programs with SMD Drugstore, and Mint Pharmacy, to offer patients in the United States free medication to help control outbreaks.

TellaDermMD applauds Australia’s efforts in bringing more awareness and education about herpes and feels it is a day the United States should consider adopting. Currently, 90 percent of those with herpes are not even aware of their own infection. With a lack of education and awareness, there comes much misinformation and misunderstanding about this skin condition which can often create a confusing and stressful environment for those diagnosed.

A spokesperson of says: “Our goal is to provide patients with an online, safe, yet private and convenient way to get the treatment they need.” The social stigma associated with a herpes diagnosis leads many people turning to the internet for information which is fraught with ads for false cures. While there is no cure for herpes, outbreaks can be easily controlled and even avoided with the use of prescription medications.

TellaDermMD is an online telemedicine company with board certified physicians throughout the United States that primarily treat patients for skin concerns, hair loss, and sexual health
